Suta (narrating Narada’s teaching as preserved in the Purana)
Vrata: Phala-saptamī (Phalasaptamikā)
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It frames Phala-saptamī as a disciplined devotional observance where specific pure offerings (fruits/produce) become a means to cultivate śraddhā and ritual correctness (vidhi) in worship.
Bhakti here is expressed through simple, sattvic naivedya—offering prescribed foods with reverence—showing that devotion is strengthened by faithful adherence to the Purāṇic procedure rather than by extravagance.
It highlights kalpa-style ritual procedure (vidhi): the practical rule-based selection of offerings for a vrata, reflecting the Purāṇic application of Vedic ritual organization.
