The Explanation of the Twelve-Month Caturthī Vrata
स्नानं दानं जपो होमः सर्वमस्यां कृतं मुने । भवेत्सह स्रगुणितं प्रसादाद्दंतिनः सदा ॥ ८६ ॥
snānaṃ dānaṃ japo homaḥ sarvamasyāṃ kṛtaṃ mune | bhavetsaha sraguṇitaṃ prasādāddaṃtinaḥ sadā || 86 ||
O Weiser, rituelles Bad, Gabe (dāna), Mantra-Rezitation (japa) und Feueropfer (homa) — alles, was zu diesem Anlass getan wird, vervielfacht sich stets tausendfach durch die Gnade Dantīs (des Herrn Gaṇeśa).
