Tṛtīyā-vrata
Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
The verse teaches that honoring five suvāsinīs with respectful offerings is a devotional act aligned with Hari-bhakti, treating auspicious household life and reverence for devotees as part of dharma.
Bhakti here is expressed through pūjā in tangible service—offering clean clothing, ornaments, sandal paste, and other items—performed for those described as hari-priyāḥ, thereby connecting social reverence with Vishnu-centered devotion.
It primarily reflects kalpa-style ritual procedure (how offerings are made in pūjā) rather than technical Vedanga theory, emphasizing correct items and respectful method in vrata/puja practice.
