The Exposition of the Table of Contents of the Brahmavaivarta Purāṇa

Dieser Abschnitt über Vighneśa vernichtet wahrlich alle Hindernisse. Danach folgt die Anfrage nach der Geburt Śrī Kṛṣṇas, und sodann die wunderbare Erzählung von Seinem Erscheinen.

FAQs

It frames the text’s progression: first invoking Vighneśa for obstacle-removal, then turning to devotionally charged inquiry and narration of Śrī Kṛṣṇa’s divine birth.

By highlighting “inquiry” and “wondrous narration” of Kṛṣṇa’s birth, it signals śravaṇa (hearing) and manana (reflective questioning) as entry-points into Viṣṇu/Kṛṣṇa-bhakti.

No specific Vedāṅga is taught in this verse; it functions as an anukramanika marker, indicating a ritual-practical theme (vighna-śānti/obstacle-removal) before the Kṛṣṇa-janma narrative.
