न तु व्यर्थशतोद्घुष्टसंभावितधनो नरः एवं संचिन्त्य वेगेन समुत्तस्थौ महाबलः //

Transliteration

na tu vyarthaśatodghuṣṭasaṃbhāvitadhano naraḥ evaṃ saṃcintya vegena samuttasthau mahābalaḥ //

Translation

Doch jener Mann — dessen Reichtum und Rang hundertfach ausgerufen und gerühmt worden waren — war keiner, den man vergeblich preist. So erwogen, erhob sich der Gewaltige sogleich in Eile.
