sarvaśāstrāṇyanukramya saṃkṣipya granthavistaram grahaśāntiṃ pravakṣyāmi purāṇaśruticoditām //

Nachdem ich alle Śāstras der Reihe nach durchgangen und ihre weitschweifige Darstellung zusammengefasst habe, werde ich nun den besänftigenden Ritus für die Planeten (graha-śānti) lehren, wie ihn puranische Überlieferung und heilige Śruti gebieten.
