Transliteration

janamejayasya rājarṣer mahāśālo 'bhavatsutaḥ āsīd indrasamo rājā pratiṣṭhitayaśābhavat //

Translation

Dem königlichen Rishi Janamejaya wurde ein Sohn namens Mahāśāla geboren. Er wurde ein König Indra gleich, und sein Ruhm war fest begründet.
