पत्नी च ते कुशलीनी यत एवाऽनुतिष्ठति ।

पृच्छाम्यस्यास्ततो नाहं कुशल्योऽपरास्तव ॥

Transliteration

patnī ca te kuśalinī yata evānutiṣṭhati /

pṛcchāmy asyās tato nāhaṃ kuśalinyo 'parās tava //

Translation

Und geht es deiner Gemahlin wohl — ihr, durch die die Ordnung des Hauses fortgeführt wird? Darum erkundige ich mich nach ihr; nach deinen anderen Wohlgesinnten (oder anderen Frauen) frage ich nicht in gleicher Weise.
