Adhyaya 43 — Portents of Death (Ariṣṭa-lakṣaṇas) and the Yogin’s Response; Alarka Renounces Kingship
रुरुशावविषाणाग्रमालक्ष्य तिलकाकृतिम् ।
सह तेन विवर्धन्तं योगी सिद्धिमवाप्नुयात् ॥
ruruśāvaviṣāṇāgram ālakṣya tilakākṛtim | saha tena vivardhantaṃ yogī siddhim avāpnuyāt ||
Indem man die Spitze des Horns eines jungen Ruru-Hirsches betrachtet, geformt wie das Zeichen eines Sesamkorns, und wie sie mit ihm wächst—so kann der Yogin Vollkommenheit erlangen, indem er das allmähliche Anwachsen versteht.
