Adhyaya 37Alarka’s Crisis and the Teaching on Non-Attachment (Madālasa’s Instruction Recalled)

तं समेत्य महात्मानम् अकल्पषम् असङ्गिनम् ।

प्रणिपत्याभिसम्पूज्य यथान्यायम् अभाषत ॥

taṃ sametya mahātmānam akalpaṣam asaṅginam /

praṇipatyābhisampūjya yathānyāyam abhāṣata //

Nachdem er sich jenem großherzigen — makellosen und ungebundenen — genähert hatte, verneigte er sich, erwies ihm die gebührende Verehrung und sprach dann gemäß rechter Sitte.
