Adhyaya 37 — Alarka’s Crisis and the Teaching on Non-Attachment (Madālasa’s Instruction Recalled)
ततः स साधुसम्पर्कं चिन्तयन् पृथिवीपतिः ।
दत्तात्रेयं महाभागम् अगच्छत् परमार्तिमान् ॥
tataḥ sa sādhusamparkaṃ cintayan pṛthivīpatiḥ /
dattātreyaṃ mahābhāgam agacchat paramārtimān //
Dann begab sich der König, über die Berührung mit dem Heiligen nachsinnend, in äußerster Bedrängnis zu dem hochgesegneten Dattātreya.
