एवं च सुखदुःखानि पुण्यापुण्योद्भवानि वै ॥

Transliteration

cirād gurutaraṃ tadvan mahāntam api kālajam / evaṃ ca sukhaduḥkhāni puṇyāpuṇyodbhavāni vai

Translation

Mit der Zeit wird es auf gleiche Weise schwerer und intensiver, ja es wächst durch den bloßen Lauf der Jahre. So entstehen Lust und Schmerz wahrhaft aus Verdienst und Unverdienst.
