Adhyaya 14The Messenger of Yama Explains Karmic Retribution and the Causes of Naraka Torments

भुञ्जानोऽनेकसंसारसम्भवानिह तिष्ठति ।

जातिदेशावरुद्धानि ज्ञानाज्ञानफलानि च ॥

bhuñjāno 'nekasaṃsāra-sambhavān iha tiṣṭhati / jāti-deśāvaruddhāni jñānājñāna-phalāni ca

Indem ein Wesen die Früchte vieler Kreisläufe der Wiedergeburt erfährt, bleibt es hier (in der Welt). Und die Ergebnisse von Wissen und Unwissenheit werden durch die Geburt (Art/Kaste) und durch die jeweilige Region begrenzt.
