सहदेवस्य गोसंख्य-तन्तिपाल-रूपेण विराट-समागमः | Sahadeva’s Audience with Virāṭa as Cattle-Enumerator

स्त्रियो राजकुले याश्व याश्चैमा मम वेश्मनि । प्रसक्तास्त्वां निरीक्षन्ते पुमांसं कं न मोहये:,इस राजकुलमें जितनी स्त्रियाँ हैं तथा मेरे महलमें भी जो ये सुन्दरियाँ हैं, वे सब एकटक तुम्हारी ओर निहार रही हैं; फिर पुरुष कौन ऐसा होगा, जिसे तुम मोहित न कर सको?

striyo rājakule yāś ca yāś caimā mama veśmani | prasaktās tvāṁ nirīkṣante pumāṁsaṁ kaṁ na mohayeḥ ||

Vaiśampāyana sprach: „Die Frauen des königlichen Hauses, und auch diese Damen in meiner eigenen Wohnstatt, blicken dich alle unverwandt an. Welcher Mann könnte es geben, den du nicht zu betören vermöchtest?“
