Shloka 11
यत् कृत्यं मन्यसे पार्थ क्रियतां तदनन्तरम् । सर्वे कामा: समृद्धा मे सम्बन्धी यस्य मेडर्जुन:,विराट बोले--पार्थ! आप कौरयवोंमें श्रेष्ठ और कुन्तीदेवीके पुत्र हैं। धनंजयमें इस प्रकार धर्मका विचार होना उचित ही है। पाण्डुपुत्र अर्जुन ही इस प्रकार नित्यधर्मपरायण और ज्ञानसम्पन्न हो सकते हैं। अब इसके बाद जो कर्तव्य आप ठीक समझें, उसे पूर्ण करें। मेरी सब कामनाएँ पूर्ण हो गयीं। जिसके सम्बन्धी अर्जुन हो रहे हों, उसकी कौन-सी कामना अपूर्ण रह सकती हैं?
yat kṛtyaṁ manyase pārtha kriyatāṁ tad-anantaram | sarve kāmāḥ samṛddhā me sambandhī yasya me 'rjunaḥ ||
Virāṭa sprach: „O Pārtha, welche Pflicht du für zu tun hältst — sie werde sogleich danach vollzogen. All meine Wünsche sind erfüllt, denn Arjuna ist nun mein Verwandter. Wer Arjuna zum Angehörigen hat — welcher Wunsch könnte da unerfüllt bleiben?“
