Dhanaṃjaya’s Reassurance and the Opening Engagement
अलनम्बुषोग्रसेनानां गन्धर्वस्य च तुम्बुरो: । यथामानं यथोद्देशं विमानानि चकाशिरे
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
alambūṣograsenānāṃ gandharvasya ca tumburoḥ |
yathāmānaṃ yathoddeśaṃ vimānāni cakāśire ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: Die Luftwagen der Gandharvas—Alambūṣā und Ugrasena—und auch der des Gandharvakönigs Tumburu leuchteten am Himmel; jeder erschien in seinem angemessenen Maß und in der ihm bestimmten Region. Das Bild betont die kosmische Ordnung: Selbst Glanz wird von Disziplin und rechter Fügung gelenkt, nicht von bloßer Schaustellung.
