कृपवाक्यं तथा नीत्युपदेशः

Kṛpa’s Counsel and a Discourse on Statecraft

आचार्यवाक्योपरमे तद्घाक्यमभिसंदधत्‌ । हितार्थ समुवाचैनां भारतीं भारतान्‌ प्रति,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--राजन्‌! इसके पश्चात्‌ भरतवंशियोंके पितामह, देशकालके ज्ञाता, वेद-शास्त्रोंके विद्वान, तत्त्वज्ञानी और सम्पूर्ण धर्मोको जाननेवाले शान्तनुनन्दन भीष्मजीने आचार्य द्रोणकी बात पूरी होनेपर कौरवोंके हितके लिये आचार्यके कथनसे मेल खाती हुई यह बात कौरवोंसे कही

Vaiśampāyana uvāca | ācārya-vākyoparame tad-vākyam abhisandadhat | hitārthaṁ samuvācaināṁ bhāratīṁ bhāratān prati ||

Vaiśampāyana sprach: Als die Rede des Lehrers zu Ende war, ergriff Bhīṣma—zum Wohle der Bhāratas—das Wort und wandte sich an die Kauravas mit Worten, die mit der Aussage des Lehrers übereinstimmten, zu ihrem Besten.
