Virāṭa-parva Adhyāya 22 — Draupadī’s Abduction Attempt and Bhīma’s Suppression of the Kīcakas
उवाच च महातेजा द्रौपदीं योषितां वराम् । पश्यैनमेहि पाञज्चालि कामुको5यं यथा कृत:,उस समय महातेजस्वी भीमने युवतियोंमें श्रेष्ठ द्रोपीसे कहा--'पांचाली! यहाँ आओ और इसे देखो। इस कामीकी शक्ल कैसी बना दी है!”
uvāca ca mahātejā draupadīṁ yoṣitāṁ varām | paśyainam ehi pāñcāli kāmuko 'yaṁ yathā kṛtaḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: Da sagte der mächtige Bhīma zu Draupadī, der Vornehmsten unter den Frauen: „Komm her, Pāñcālī, und sieh ihn an — sieh, zu welcher Gestalt dieser von Begierde getriebene Mann herabgesunken ist!“
