नदन्तं च महानादं भिन्नभेरीसमस्वनम्‌ | भ्रामयामास सुचिरं विस्फुरन्तमचेतसम्‌,अब वह फूटे नगारेके समान विकृत स्वरमें जोर-जोरसे सिंहनाद करने तथा बन्धनसे छूटनेके लिये छटपटाने लगा। उसकी चेतना लुप्त हो रही थी। उसी दशामें भीमसेनने बहुत देरतक उसे घुमाया

nadantaṃ ca mahānādaṃ bhinnabherīsamasvanam | bhrāmayāmāsa suciraṃ visphurantam acetasaṃ ||

Laut brüllend—mit einem Klang wie der eines gesprungenen Kesseltrommels—und in wilden Zuckungen ringend, während ihm die Sinne schwanden, wurde er von Bhīmasena lange umhergewirbelt.
