Virāṭa-parva Adhyāya 22 — Draupadī’s Abduction Attempt and Bhīma’s Suppression of the Kīcakas
वैशम्पायन उवाच इत्युक्त्वा तं महाबाहुर्भीमो भीमपराक्रम: । सहसोत्पत्य कौन्तेय: प्रहस्येदमुवाच ह,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--राजन! कीचकसे ऐसा कहकर भयंकरपराक्रमी कुन्तीपुत्र महाबाहु भीमसेन सहसा उछलकर खड़े हो गये और हँसते हुए इस प्रकार बोले --
vaiśampāyana uvāca | ity uktvā taṃ mahābāhur bhīmo bhīmaparākramaḥ | sahasotpatya kaunteyaḥ prahasyedam uvāca ha ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: Nachdem er so zu ihm geredet hatte, sprang Bhīma — der Großarmige, von furchterregender Kraft, Kuntīs Sohn — plötzlich auf und sprach lachend diese Worte.
