Educational Q&A

The verse highlights dharma expressed as disciplined service: even a prince accepts an assigned role under the rightful authority of the eldest, showing humility, competence, and readiness to contribute through one’s specialized skills.

Nakula introduces himself by stating that Yudhiṣṭhira, the eldest among the five Pāṇḍavas, had earlier entrusted him with the responsibility of horses—establishing his credentials and suitability for a role connected with horse-care during the Virāṭa episode.
