Dhṛtarāṣṭra and Sañjaya on Arjuna’s Indraloka report and the political consequences
निवेदयामास तदा चित्रसेनाय पाण्डव: । तत्र चैवं यथावृत्तं शापं चैव पुन: पुन:,तदनन्तर शत्रुदमन पाण्डुकुमार अर्जुन बड़ी उतावलीके साथ चित्रसेनके समीप गये तथा रातमें उर्वशीके साथ जो घटना जिस प्रकार घटित हुई, वह सब उन्होंने उस समय चित्रसेनको ज्यों-की-त्यों कह सुनायी। साथ ही उसके शाप देनेकी बात भी उन्होंने बार-बार दुहरायी
nivedayāmāsa tadā citrasenāya pāṇḍavaḥ | tatra caiva yathāvṛttaṃ śāpaṃ caiva punaḥ punaḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: Da berichtete der Pāṇḍava Chitrasena die Angelegenheit, genau so, wie sie sich zugetragen hatte, und hob den Fluch ebenfalls immer wieder hervor.
