Ajñātavāsa-saṅkalpaḥ — Yudhiṣṭhira’s Resolve and Dhaumya’s Exempla on Concealment

The verse highlights disciplined speech and truthfulness: one should speak fully and accurately (“yathāvṛttam”) but also with sensitivity to time and circumstance, postponing detailed narration until an appropriate moment.
Sāvitrī addresses a prince and notes that the night is growing late; she promises that the next morning she will explain everything that happened, in exact detail.
