Ajñātavāsa-saṅkalpaḥ — Yudhiṣṭhira’s Resolve and Dhaumya’s Exempla on Concealment

उत्तिष्ठोत्तिष्ठ भद्रं ते पितरौ पश्य सुव्रत । विगाढा रजनी चेयं निवृत्तश्न दिवाकर:,'सुत्रत! उठिये, उठिये, आपका कल्याण हो। आप चलकर माता-पिताका दर्शन तो कीजिये। सूर्य डूब गये तथा रात घनी हो गयी है

uttiṣṭhottiṣṭha bhadraṁ te pitarau paśya suvrata | vigāḍhā rajanī ceyaṁ nivṛttaś ca divākaraḥ ||

Yama sprach: „Steh auf, steh auf — möge dir Gutes widerfahren, o du, der du fest im Gelübde stehst. Geh und schaue nach deinen Eltern. Die Sonne ist zurückgewichen, und die Nacht ist tief geworden.“
