अवध्य: सर्वभूतानां मत्प्रसादात्‌ पुराभवत्‌ । कस्माच्चित्‌ कारणात्‌ पाप: कज्चित्‌ कालमुपेक्षित:,पूर्वकालमें मेरे ही प्रसादसे यह समस्त प्राणियोंके लिये अवध्य हो गया था। किसी कारणवश ही कुछ कालतक इस पापीकी उपेक्षा की गयी थी

Transliteration

avadhyaḥ sarvabhūtānāṁ matprasādāt purābhavat | kasmāc cit kāraṇāt pāpaḥ kaścit kālam upekṣitaḥ ||

Translation

„Einst wurde er durch meine Gunst für alle Wesen unverwundbar. Doch aus irgendeinem Grund duldete man diesen Sünder — ließ ihn eine Zeitlang ungestraft.“
