Kuntī’s Regulated Hospitality to a Brāhmaṇa Guest
स तयाभिहतो धीमान् गदया भीमवेगया । नाकम्पत महाबाहुर्हिमवानिव सुस्थिर:,भयानक वेगवाली उस गदासे आहत होकर भी बुद्धिमान् महाबाहु विभीषण विचलित नहीं हुए। वे हिमालयके समान सुस्थिरभावसे खड़े रहे
sa tayābhihato dhīmān gadayā bhīmavegayā | nākampata mahābāhur himavān iva susthiraḥ ||
Obwohl ihn die Keule traf, schnell und von furchterregender Wucht, wankte der Weise mit den mächtigen Armen nicht. Wie Himavān (der Himalaya) stand er fest und unerschüttert—ein Bild standhaften Mutes und Selbstbeherrschung angesichts der Gewalt.
