Educational Q&A

The verse highlights humility and deference to wise guidance: Arjuna acknowledges that the king knows the means to the highest good (śreyas, associated with liberation) and expresses readiness to follow that counsel in choosing their place of residence.

Arjuna addresses a king and affirms trust in his discernment about what is spiritually and practically best; he then states that the group will stay wherever the king wishes, indicating cooperation and acceptance of leadership in their circumstances.
