गदामुसलशतक्त्यद्यर्व॒तः प्रहरणोत्तमै: । विजयके पीछे भगवान्‌ रुद्रका पट्टिश नामक शस्त्र जा रहा था, जिसे गदा, मुसल और शक्ति आदि उत्तम आयुधोंने घेर रक्खा था

gadāmusalaśataktīdyarvataḥ praharaṇottamaiḥ | vijayake pīche bhagavān rudrakā paṭṭiśa nāmaka śastra jā rahā thā, jise gadā, musala aura śakti ādi uttama āyudhoṃ ne ghera rakkhā thā |

Mārkaṇḍeya sprach: Hinter Vijaya bewegte sich die gesegnete Waffe Rudras namens Paṭṭiśa, von allen Seiten umgeben von den erlesensten Kampfgeräten—Keulen, Stößeln, Speeren und vielen anderen Waffen—und bildete ein furchtgebietendes kriegerisches Gefolge, das göttliche Macht verkündet und die Unausweichlichkeit des Sieges, wenn Gewalt mit höherer Ordnung im Einklang steht.
