Kaurava Court Hears of the Pāṇḍavas’ Forest Hardship (वैचित्रवीर्यवंशीयस्य राज्ञः करुणाविचारः)
स भविष्यति सेनानीस्त्वया सह शतक्रतो । अस्या देव्या:पतिश्वैव स भविष्यति वीर्यवान्,शतक्रतो! वही तुम्हारे साथ रहकर देवसेनाका पराक्रमी सेनापति होगा और वही इस देवीका भी पति होगा
sa bhaviṣyati senānīs tvayā saha śatakrato | asyā devyāḥ patiś caiva sa bhaviṣyati vīryavān, śatakrato |
Mārkaṇḍeya sprach: „O Śatakratu (Indra), er wird der tapfere Heerführer sein, der an deiner Seite bleibt; und eben derselbe Held wird auch der Gemahl dieser Göttin werden.“
