Kāmyaka Forest Meeting: Kṛṣṇa’s Visit; Mārkaṇḍeya and Nārada Arrive

शशंस तस्मै पाञज्चाली चिरयातं वृकोदरम्‌ | स प्रतस्थे महाबाहुर्धाम्पेन सहितो नृप:,द्रौपदीने उत्तर दिया--'उनको यहाँसे गये बहुत देर हो गयी“--यह सुनकर महाबाहु महाराज युधिष्छिर महर्षि धौम्यके साथ उनकी खोजके लिये चल दिये

śaśaṃsa tasmai pāñcālī cirayātaṃ vṛkodaram | sa pratasthe mahābāhur dhaumyena sahito nṛpaḥ |

Vaiśampāyana sprach: Draupadī, die Pāñcālī-Prinzessin, teilte ihm mit, dass Vṛkodara (Bhīma) schon vor langer Zeit fortgegangen sei. Als der mächtigarmige König Yudhiṣṭhira dies hörte, brach er, begleitet vom Weisen Dhaumya, auf, um ihn zu suchen—ein Zeichen königlicher Pflicht, für Verwandte und Gefährten Sorge zu tragen.
