क्रीडाप्रदेशां श्ष समृद्धरूपान्‌ सुचित्रमाल्यावृतजातशो भान्‌ । मणिप्रकीर्णाक्ष मनोरमांश्न॒ यथा भवेयुर्धनदस्य राज्ञ:

Transliteration

krīḍāpradeśāṁś ca samṛddharūpān sucitramālyāvṛtajātaśobhān | maṇiprakīrṇākṣa-manoramāṁś ca yathā bhaveyur dhanadasya rājñaḥ ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana sprach: Sie sahen prächtige Lustgärten, reich an Schönheit, mit kunstvoll bunten Blumengirlanden geschmückt und auf vielerlei Weise strahlend, dem Auge lieblich, als gehörten sie Kubera, dem Herrn des Reichtums.
