विस्तरेण च मे शंस भीमसेनपराक्रमम्‌ । यत्‌ यच्चक्रे महाबाहुस्तस्मिन्‌ हैमवते गिरौ,आप मुझसे भीमसेनका पराक्रम विस्तारपूर्वक बतावें। उन महाबाहुने हिमालय पर्वतके शिखरपर रहते समय कौन-कौन-सा कार्य किया था?

Transliteration

vistareṇa ca me śaṃsa bhīmasena-parākramam | yat yat cakre mahābāhus tasmin haimavate girau ||

Translation

Janamejaya sprach: „Berichte mir ausführlich von Bhīmasenas Tapferkeit: Welche Taten vollbrachte jener mächtigarmige Held, als er dort auf dem Berge Himavat weilte?“
