अर्जुनागमनम्
Arjuna’s Arrival and Reunion on the Sacred Mountain
ततः शैलोत्तमस्याग्रात् पाण्डवान् प्रति मारुत: । अवहत् सर्वमाल्यानि गन्धवन्ति शुभानि च,तत्पश्चात् उस उत्तम पर्वतके शिखरसे पाण्डवोंकी ओर हवाका एक झोंका आया, जिसने वहाँ सब प्रकारके सुगन्धित पुष्पोंकी बनी हुई बहुत-सी सुन्दर मालाएँ लाकर बिखेर दीं
tataḥ śailottamasyāgrāt pāṇḍavān prati mārutaḥ | avahat sarvamālyāni gandhavanti śubhāni ca ||
Dann wehte vom Gipfel jenes vortrefflichen Berges eine Windböe den Pāṇḍavas entgegen und trug viele glückverheißende, duftende Blumengirlanden herbei, die sie weithin verstreute.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse conveys the idea that auspiciousness and support can manifest through nature itself when the righteous endure hardship; beauty and fragrance become signs of encouragement rather than mere decoration.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that a gust of wind from the mountain’s summit blows toward the Pāṇḍavas, bringing and scattering many fragrant, auspicious garlands around them.
