वैशम्पायन उवाच
A dharma-knowing sage recognizes worthy persons through higher insight and responds with proper conduct—here, respectful hospitality—showing that spiritual discernment should lead to ethical action.
The narrator reports that a sage, using divine sight, identifies the Pāṇḍavas as Pāṇḍu’s sons and eminent Kurus, and then courteously invites them to sit.
