Bhīma–Hanūmān Dialogue on Yugas (युगवर्णनम्)
Power is not merely physical; dharma requires humility and restraint. Even when one feels justified by urgency, one should not act arrogantly toward the weak or toward elders; reverence and self-control are marks of true strength.
Hanuman, appearing as an infirm being blocking the way, tells the traveler that he cannot rise due to illness and suggests stepping over him if the journey is urgent—setting up a moral and spiritual test of the traveler’s conduct.
