Educational Q&A

As a chapter-ending colophon, the verse itself teaches by framing the preceding dialogue as part of a dharmic pilgrimage: true power is not mere force but disciplined strength guided by humility and righteous conduct, as exemplified in the Hanumān–Bhīma exchange.

This line concludes the chapter within the Vana Parva’s pilgrimage section, specifically the episode of Lomasa’s guided tīrtha-journey, and identifies the completed unit as the dialogue between Hanumān and Bhīmasena.
