इक्ष्वाकुवंशप्रभवो युवनाश्वो महीपति: । सो5यजत्‌ पृथिवीपाल: क्रतुभिर्भूरिदक्षिणै:,इक्ष्वाकुवंशमें युवनाश्व॒ नामसे प्रसिद्ध एक राजा हो गये हैं। भूपाल युवनाश्चने प्रचुर दक्षिणावाले बहुत-से यज्ञोंका अनुष्ठान किया

Transliteration

Ikṣvākavaṁśaprabhavo Yuvanāśvo mahīpatiḥ | so 'yajat pṛthivīpālaḥ kratubhir bhūridakṣiṇaiḥ ||

Translation

Lomaśa sprach: „Aus dem Geschlecht Ikṣvākus ging ein König namens Yuvanāśva hervor. Dieser Herrscher der Erde vollzog viele Opferhandlungen, jede begleitet von reichen Gaben (dakṣiṇā) für die priesterlichen Offizianten.“
