मैत्रेयागमनम् — The Arrival of Maitreya and the Admonition to Duryodhana

तावन्योन्यं समा श्लिष्य प्रकर्षन्तौ परस्परम्‌ | उभावपि चकाशे ते प्रवृद्धौ वृषभाविव,वे दोनों वीर परस्पर भिड़ गये और दोनों दोनोंको खींचने लगे। दो हृष्ट-पुष्ट साँड़ोंकी भाँति परस्पर भिड़े हुए उन दोनों योद्धाओंकी बड़ी शोभा हो रही थी

tāv anyonyaṃ samāśliṣya prakarṣantau parasparam | ubhāv api cakāśe te pravṛddhau vṛṣabhāv iva ||

Fest umschlungen zogen und zerrten sie einander mit Gewalt. In diesem Ringen leuchteten beide Krieger—wie zwei ausgewachsene, kraftvolle Stiere, die im Kampf ineinander verkeilt sind—jeder prüfte die Stärke des anderen, ohne nachzugeben.
