महिषैश्न वराहैश्न सृमरैश्वमरैरपि । तत्र तत्रानुचरितं शार्टूलभयवर्जिति:,भैंसे, सूअर, बालमृग और चवँरी गायें बाघ-सिंहोंके भयसे रहित हो उस आश्रमके आस-पास विचर रही थीं

Transliteration

mahiṣaiś ca varāhaiś ca śṛmaraś ca amarair api | tatra tatrānucaritaṃ śārṭūlabhayavarjitam ||

Translation

Lomaśa sprach: In der Gegend jener Einsiedelei streiften Büffel, Wildschweine, scheue Hirsche und selbst yakähnliches Rindvieh hier und dort umher, unbeschwert von der Furcht vor Tigern.
