ततः किरीटी तस्यानुप्रविवेश महामना: । पश्चाच्चैव स कृष्णस्य प्रह्दोडतिषछ्ठत् कृताञ्जलि:,तत्पश्चात् महामना किरीटधारी अर्जुनने श्रीकृष्णके शयनागारमें प्रवेश किया। वे बड़ी नम्रतासे हाथ जोड़े हुए श्रीकृष्णके चरणोंकी ओर खड़े रहे
tataḥ kirīṭī tasyānupraviveśa mahāmanāḥ | paścāccaiva sa kṛṣṇasya prahvoda-tiṣṭhat kṛtāñjaliḥ ||
Dann trat der edelgesinnte Kirīṭī (Arjuna) nach ihm in die Kammer ein. Er blieb im Hintergrund stehen, vor Kṛṣṇa mit gefalteten Händen, in Demut geneigt — ein Bild disziplinierter Ehrfurcht und Selbstbeherrschung in einem Augenblick voller politischer und moralischer Tragweite.
