Dvārakāyāṃ Sāhāyya-vibhāgaḥ (Alliance Allocation at Dvārakā) / उद्योगपर्व अध्याय ७

ततः शयाने गोविन्दे प्रविवेश सुयोधन: । उच्छीर्षतश्न॒ कृष्णस्य निषसाद वरासने,श्रीकृष्णके शयनकालमें पहले दुर्योधनने उनके भवनमें प्रवेश किया और उनके सिरहानेकी ओर रखे हुए एक श्रेष्ठ सिंहासनपर बैठ गया

tataḥ śayāne govinde praviveśa suyodhanaḥ | ucchīrṣataḥ kṛṣṇasya niṣasāda varāsane ||

Vaiśampāyana sprach: Dann, während Govinda (Kṛṣṇa) noch lag, trat Suyodhana (Duryodhana) ein. Er nahm auf einem vortrefflichen Thron Platz, der nahe bei Kṛṣṇas Haupt aufgestellt war, und setzte sich so, als wolle er Vorrang und Vorteil erringen — ein äußeres Zeichen von Hochmut und politischer Berechnung, nicht von Demut vor der Tugend.
