Sañjaya’s Report
आह्त्य कृष्णो मणिकुण्डले ते हत्वा च भौमं॑ नरकं मुरं च । श्रिया वृतो यशसा चैव विद्धवान् प्रत्याजगामाप्रतिमप्रभाव:
āhṛtya kṛṣṇo maṇikuṇḍale te hatvā ca bhaumaṁ narakaṁ muraṁ ca | śriyā vṛto yaśasā caiva viddhavān pratyājagāmāpratimaprabhāvaḥ ||
Sañjaya sprach: Nachdem Kṛṣṇa jene juwelenbesetzten Ohrringe zurückgewonnen hatte und Bhūma (Naraka) sowie auch Mura erschlagen waren, kehrte er in seine eigene Stadt zurück—unvergleichlich an Macht, geschmückt mit dem Glanz des Sieges und strahlendem Ruhm. Die Episode betont die königliche Pflicht, unterdrückerische Kräfte zu beseitigen und unrechtmäßig Entwendetes wiederherzustellen, damit rechtmäßige Ordnung und Ehre neu begründet werden.
