Dharma manifests through recognizable signs: divine resolve supports order, wise counsel has real efficacy, true learning produces humility, and sinful conduct leads to inevitable ruin.
In Vidura’s counsel during the Udyoga Parva, he summarizes observable principles of righteous governance and conduct, contrasting the traits of the wise and learned with the fate of wrongdoers.
