Amba–Rama–Bhishma Dialogue on Vow and Refuge
तत्र त्वं निहतो राम मया शरशतार्दित: । प्राप्स्यसे निर्जिताँललोकान् शस्त्रपूतो महारणे
tatra tvaṁ nihato rāma mayā śaraśatārditaḥ | prāpsyase nirjitāṁl lokān śastrapūto mahāraṇe ||
„Dort, o Rāma, wenn du in jener großen Schlacht von mir erschlagen wirst — von Hunderten Pfeilen durchbohrt und gequält und durch die Prüfung der Waffen geläutert — wirst du die himmlischen Welten erlangen, die du dir durch deine rechtschaffenen Taten erworben hast.“
