स्वर्गे दुर्योधनदर्शनम् | Duryodhana Seen in Heaven
Triviṣṭapa
यत्कृते पृथिवी सर्वा सुहृदो बान्धवास्तथा । हतास्माभि: प्रसह्याजौ क्लिष्टै: पूर्व महावने
vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca |
yat-kṛte pṛthivī sarvā suhṛdo bāndhavās tathā |
hatāsmābhiḥ prasahyājau kliṣṭaiḥ pūrvaṃ mahāvane ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: „Seinetwegen wurde die ganze Erde verwüstet, und auch unsere Freunde und Verwandten wurden von uns im Kampf gewaltsam erschlagen; und seinetwegen erduldeten wir zuvor im großen Wald schweres Leid—“
