तया ते समनुज्ञाता मातरं वीरमातरम्
tayā te samanujñātā mātaraṃ vīramātaram
Mit ihrer Zustimmung wurde ihnen ordnungsgemäß erlaubt, sich der Mutter zu nähern—der Mutter eines Helden—und damit ein respektvoller, dem Dharma entsprechender Übergang von der Erlaubnis einer Autorität zur nächsten inmitten von Trauer und Nachkriegszeit angezeigt.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Even amid the devastation of war, proper conduct is maintained through seeking and granting permission, honoring elders, and approaching those in grief with due respect—an expression of dharma in social relations.
A group is given formal leave by a woman (contextually, a senior or authoritative figure), and with that permission they proceed to the mother described as a ‘hero’s mother,’ indicating a respectful visit or approach in the mourning setting of the Strī Parva.
