तेनैतत्‌ कथितं तात माहात्म्यं परमव्ययम्‌ । तस्माच्छुतं मया चेदं कथितं च तवानघ

Transliteration

Vaiśampāyana uvāca: tenaitat kathitaṃ tāta māhātmyaṃ paramāvyayam | tasmāc chrutaṃ mayā cedaṃ kathitaṃ ca tavānagha ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana sprach: „Mein Kind, so ist diese höchste, unvergängliche Größe verkündet worden. Aus jener Quelle habe ich all dies gehört, und, o Schuldloser, nun habe ich es auch dir erzählt.“
