Systems of Knowledge and Vyāsa’s Nārāyaṇa-Origin
तेडपि स्वस्था मुनिगणा एकभावमनुव्रता:
teḍ api svasthā munigaṇā ekabhāvam anuvratāḥ
Bhīṣma sprach: „Auch jene Scharen von Weisen blieben gefasst und unerschüttert; in einmütiger Gesinnung standen sie fest—treu einem gemeinsamen Entschluss verpflichtet.“
भीष्म उवाच
The verse highlights the ethical ideal of inner steadiness (svastha) and disciplined fidelity to a chosen principle or vow (anuvrata). True spiritual authority is shown by calm composure and unified intention rather than agitation or divided motives.
Bhīṣma describes how the assembled sages are themselves calm and stable, acting with one-minded resolve and adherence to their shared observance—indicating a harmonious, disciplined spiritual atmosphere around the discourse.
