तयोरभ्यसतोरेव नानाधर्मप्रवादिनो: । वातो&तिमात्र प्रववी समुद्रानिलवेजित:
tayor abhyasator eva nānā-dharma-pravādinor | vāto ’timātraṃ pravavī samudrānila-vejitaḥ ||
Bhishma sprach: Während jener Vater und Sohn — Ausleger mannigfacher Lehren des Dharma — noch in ihr Veda-Studium vertieft waren, erhob sich plötzlich ein überaus heftiger Wind, vom Seewind angetrieben, als wolle er die Ruhe ihres heiligen Lernens stören und die Standhaftigkeit ihrer Disziplin erproben.
