भीष्म उवाच स एवमनुशास्तस्तु याज्ञवल्क्येन धीमता । प्रीतिमानभवद्‌ राजा मिथिलाधिपतिस्तदा

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | sa evam anuśāstastu yājñavalkyena dhīmatā | prītimān abhavad rājā mithilādhipatis tadā |

Translation

Bhīṣma sprach: So von dem weisen Yājñavalkya unterwiesen, wurde König Janaka—der Herrscher von Mithilā—zu jener Zeit von großer Freude erfüllt.
